Congratulations to Professor Siddharth Vedula for winning the Supervisory Award!
Prof. Vedula (left) won the award for his great support and dedication to his doctoral students. His students are working on several interesting topics at his chair including the study of corporate accelerators, renewable energy innovation, and the “dark side” of entrepreneurship.
His students praise him for his great support in developing research projects, while at the same time showing very good leadership skills. Professor Vedula ensures his doctoral students make continuous progress in their research and studies, while also being a mentor and role model to them.
Sid Vedula is a professor at the TUM Entrepreneurship Research Institute. His research interests include the geography of entrepreneurship and environmental entrepreneurship.
He has studied a wide range of topics, including spatial contagion behavior in the venture capital investment industry, regional differences in the adoption of green building practices, how ideological differences in communities shape renewable energy entrepreneurship, and the dynamics of regional entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Our Dean Prof. Gunther Friedl presented the award to Prof. Vedula in the name of the doctoral students. We are very proud to have such an outstanding and dedicated member of our faculty!
