The Technical University of Munich (TUM) has moved up once again in the QS World University Ranking. This makes it the best German university in the renowned ranking for the past decade and further extends its lead. 💪
TUM moved up nine places from 2023 and is now ranked 28th globally. Last year, the university had already climbed 12 places.
This makes it the 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁-𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀. It is the only German university in the top 50.
The British higher education service provider QS Quacquarelli Symonds compiles its university quality rankings by 👉 surveying academics and 👉employers.
It also assesses the 👉number of citations for published research, 👉the faculty-student ratio, and 👉the success of graduates. Other criteria include the 👉proportion of international students and staff, 👉international research collaborations, and 👉sustainability aspects.
