In today’s new issue of the annual Financial Times Masters in Management rankings, TUM School of Management’s Master in Management & Technology ranked among the top 50 programs worldwide and made a huge improvement compared to the previous ranking. The Master in Management & Technology is now ranked 49th in the overall ranking and thereby, ranks second in Germany among the Master in Management programs offered by a public university. It is also the only program in the top group offered at the business school of a technical university in Germany.
In the category “value for money”, TUM School of Management is on 16th place in the ranking, and second in Germany.

This is the 17th edition of the FT ranking with more than 120 Masters in Management programs included in the ranking. The rankings are calculated according to information collected through two separate surveys. The first one is completed by the business schools, the second survey by alumni who finished their master studies in 2018. Overall, 17 criteria are evaluated and weighted by the newspaper. The Financial Times’ ranking gives strong credit for high salaries and salary increases three years after completion of the master’s degree. It awards additional points for factors such as: value for money, aims achieved, gender balance and diversity of international representation among students, faculty and school advisory boards.
