Congratulations to Anna-Katharina Schaper (Research Associate at the EQUA Endowed Chair for Family Business Culture and Ownership) for winning the Kauffman Best Student Paper on DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) & Entrepreneurship Award at the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM) in Boston. The Award from the AOM DEI Division was sponsored by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
Anna-Katharina Schaper and her co-authors (William B. Gartner, Bertarelli Foundation Distinguished Professor of Family Entrepreneurship, Babson College & Friederike Welter, Professor for SME Management and Entrepreneurship, University of Siegen and President of the IfM Bonn) investigated the role of family support for women’s entrepreneurship in China. Anna-Katharina’s research is part of her doctoral dissertation (Chair of China Business and Economics, Faculty of Business Management and Economics, University of Würzburg).
