Jürgen Schwarz is formerly a Senior Partner and Managing Director at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and was the global leader for BCG’s Wholesale, Corporate & Investment Banking and Transaction Banking Business for 20 years, and as such a member of BCG’s global Financial Institutions leadership team. During the nearly 30 years with BCG he has built businesses for BCG out of offices in Frankfurt, Toronto, Moscow, and Amsterdam. Based on this experience and his involvement in building digital ecosystems in other industries and in many different countries during his BCG career he is currently advising digital/AI/Advanced Analytics start-up companies on their growth paths and CEOs in various industries to transform their organizations towards becoming sustainability and social impact champions. In his current role as Senior Advisor and Executive Coach at BCG, Jürgen is actively involved in BCG’s Global Financial Services Practice with focus on Sustainability and Social Impact as well as a leading member of BCG’s People and Organisation Practice with focus on Executive Coaching within and outside BCG for companies in different industries and countries. Before joining BCG, Jürgen worked in the corporate and investment banking field for a leading American bank and served as global head of corporate finance for a German multinational company in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
