Dr. Alexander Regelmann is working since 15 years at Group Procurement Services at Clariant in the area of Indirect Spend. Having managed different segments on local as well as global level, he is now responsible for major Capital Investments globally as well as for Energies in Europe. In his daily work, he manages suppliers and supplier relationships from multiple angles, with a key focus on long term sustainability. In particular in Energy Procurement, he and his team pursue – in cooperation with other functions at Clariant – strategies and tactics to reduce scope-2 related CO2 emissions, thereby contributing to the corporate sustainability agenda of Clariant. Alexander holds a PHD from EBS University in Oestrich-Winkel. In his doctoral studies, he focused on Corporate Carbon Dioxide Mitigation from a managerial perspective.
