Dr. Alexander Regelmann has served at Clariant's Global Function Procurement for over 20 years. Throughout his career, he has managed various segments at both local and global levels within Indirect Spend. His responsibilities have included overseeing major Capital Investments globally and Energy procurement across Europe before assuming the role of Head of Indirect Spend for the EMEA Region in 2022, followed by his appointment as Global Head of Indirect Spend in 2023.
In his current position as Head of Center of Expertise, Alexander serves as the deputy to the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO). His responsibilities encompass Procurement's global processes and standards, strategic programs, market and business analyses, supplier risk management as well as the function's digital agenda.
Alexander holds a PhD from EBS University in Oestrich-Winkel, where his doctoral research focused on Corporate Carbon Dioxide Mitigation from a managerial perspective.
