In the renowned QS World University Rankings, TUM is once again number one in Germany - for the ninth time in a row. It is ranked second in the European Union and 37th worldwide.
Technical University of Munich has moved up 12 places since last year and is now ranked 37th. It is the second-best university in the EU and among the top 10 in Europe.
The 20th edition of the QS World University Rankings features 1,500 institutions across 104 locations and is the only ranking of its kind to emphasize employability and sustainability.
This year, the largest-ever methodological enhancement, introducing three new metrics: Sustainability, Employment Outcomes and International Research Network has been implemented.
