Joe Kaeser is Chairman of Daimler Truck, the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer with over 100,000 employees and revenues of more than 50 billion euros, and Chairman of Siemens Energy, an energy technology manufacturer with more than 90,000 employees, and is widely considered one of the most successful and renowned top managers of Europe and the World.
For eight years, Mr. Kaeser was CEO of Siemens, a leading technology company and one of the most well-known and well-respected German companies around the world with more than 300,000 employees worldwide. Previously, Mr. Kaeser was Chief Financial Officer of Siemens for seven years, after leading the financial department and holding the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Siemens. Mr. Kaeser began his career at Siemens in the components and semiconductors division, where he also worked in Malaysia and the USA.
Mr. Kaeser is, inter alia, member of the Board of Trustees of the World Economic Forum and the Trilateral Commission and Head of the Advisory Councils of the Munich Security Conference. He was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit.
Mr. Kaeser studied business administrations at the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule in Regensburg.
