An Investigator of Strategic Issues in Operations Management
Professor Rosenzweig is Professor of Information Systems & Operations Management at Goizueta Business School. Her research focuses on learning processes and performance measurement - particularly, she investigates the influence of strategic operations-based decisions on performance potential and business development. She also focuses on supply chain strategies and the role of technology.
In her research, she adopts an interdisciplinary perspective and combines concepts and frameworks from strategic management and organizational behavior to provide insights into strategic problems in operations management.
Academic and Professional Excellence
Professor Rosenzweig joined Emory University after receiving her doctorate in Operations, Technology, and Innovation Management from the University of North Carolina in 2002.
Since joining Goizueta Business School in 2002, she steadily advanced from Assistant Professor to Full Professor.
In addition to her research achievements, Professor Rosenzweig is a highly regarded educator. She received the Emory Williams Distinguished Teaching Award in 2005, and the Evening MBA Distinguished Elective Educator Award in 2015, highlighting her commitment to teaching excellence at Emory’s Goizueta Business School.
Her leadership extends to editorial roles at top academic journals, including serving as Senior Editor for Production & Operations Management and Associate Editor for both the Journal of Operations Management and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management. With additional honors, such as the APICS CPIM certification and multiple research grants, Professor Rosenzweig continues to make a lasting mark on the fields of operations strategy and business education.
Strengthening Ties Between Goizueta Business School and TUM School of Management
She actively supports the strategic partnership between Emory’s Goizueta Business School and the TUM School of Management, particularly through collaboration with the Center of Digital Transformation (CDT) at TUM Campus Heilbronn.
As a mentor to Professor David Wuttke, she has co-authored two publications and a working paper in the field of supply chain finance and continuously contributes to the “Digital Technologies in Operations and Marketing” (DTOM) workshop series.
Furthermore, she is currently conducting research together with junior researcher Sairam Sriraman, Professor David Wuttke, and Professor Volodymyr Babich, Georgetown University, by jointly investigating how companies can optimize supply chain finance through blockchain technology.
